Our Vision, Our Mission, Our Calling

Nurture Each Other in Faith

Our Vision

To Proclaim the Good News of Salvation through Jesus Christ,

in prayer, study, worship, praise, and practice.

To develop Christ centered disciples devoted to living out

and sharing our faith, in community, with each other and the world.

How we accomplish what Jesus Christ has called us to do!

           Prayer; Study; Action; Reflection

We are establishing: Seven Pillars of Purpose, to uphold our vision.

  • Worship – our response to God

  • Study/Teach Scripture – emphasize the word of God and Jesus

  • Stewardship – promote wise use of resources.

  • Service/Action – develop missions, just and compassionate works

  • Evangelism – communicate, spread our vision message

  • Community/Faith Family – join in unity with others.

  • Fellowship – to be life changing.

Mission Statement

In response to God and the works of Jesus, we will worship together, teaching and encouraging each other and praising God.

Grow a community of disciples striving to be obedient in our spiritual walk with Jesus Christ.  We will learn effective ways to share our Faith with others and invite them into a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Following the guidance of Matthew 28: 16 – 20, we will seek the involvement of the Holy Spirit guiding our lives, trusting in the promise of the Lord to be with us every day even till the consummation of the age.

We will feed our flock, inside and outside our walls.

We will offer a ministry of visitation to: Church Members, shut-ins, visitors, and area residents.

We will reach out to the greater Batavia Community, Clermont College, and U.C. East Campus.

We will share the message of Christ at Community events and area parks.

We will improve church visibility within our community using 21st Century Communication.

Following Jesus’ teaching we will continue to provide food and clothing to our community.

We will offer a spiritual home that is safe, nurturing and encouraging.

We will develop internal policies that provide information/resources to people in need.

As Christians, we will connect with the Global Mission of the World Wide Christian Church.

We will strive to be good stewards of our time, talents, and treasures.
